ARP Bodies and Concord Motorsport Park Renew Contingency Sponsorship
Midland, NC (March 5, 2008) – Concord Motorsport Park officials announced today that Aluminum Racing Products will return as a contingency sponsor of the famed North Carolina facility for the 2008 season. The champion of both the Late Model Stock Car division and the Limited Late Model class will each receive a product certificate good for a $500.00 discount on any Master Kit body package. In addition, a Hard Luck Award will also be presented to one driver from the combined divisions. All of these certificates will be among the many contingency awards to be distributed at the 2008 Champions Banquet.
Aluminum Racing Products, based in Greenbrier, TN, is a participant manufacturer in association with NASCAR for the new composite bodies that have been recently debuted. Aluminum Racing Products is the only manufacturer that offers these bodies in seven colors and is also the only one to have the EZ Fit-Flange body to make installation the easiest on the market. In addition, Aluminum Racing Products offers a wide variety of installation components and accessories designed to make their body the easiest to install and maintain.
“We are very excited to be part of Concord Motorsport Park and its history. Some of the greatest drivers in the country have crossed the track to compete there. It is the very birthplace of our sport,” stated Dave Kamholtz of ARP Bodies. He added, “To be a small part of the success of these drivers means a lot to us as we hope that they are able to eventually move on to the upper divisions of NASCAR.”
The program has been designed to be simple in application for the teams and easy to administrate for the officials. To qualify for the awards, all drivers choosing to participate must run the ARPBodies.com decal on the front fender just behind the front wheel opening on both sides of the race car. Decals will be made available to all drivers by officials of the Wisconsin Challenge Series.
“Dwight Davies has done a great job in helping us with this contingency program. It’s simple and straight forward – not complicated at all and it helps the teams in the long run. We look forward to building new relationships with drivers, crews and teams that we have not had the opportunity to do so with in the past. Personally, I can’t wait to meet all the great people involved with the series and the track,” Kamholtz added.
